What does tips-based mean?
We offer this tour on a tips-based, ‘Pay-What-You-Want’ model. This means that your guide doesn’t get paid by anyone else to run the tour. If you enjoy the tour you are free to decide how much you would like to leave for your guide at the end.
Your guide can accept a payment with cash or card.

Where do the tours start?
The tour meets beside the Spire on O’Connell Street. Look for the yellow umbrella!

Do I need to book or can I just turn up?
You do need to book the tour to guarantee your place. This helps us to manage our numbers and to ensure that we do not have groups that are too big.

Can I join the tour with a group of more than 5 people?
Unfortunately, we cannot take groups travelling together of more that 5 people on this tour.
If you are part of a group travelling together of more than 5 people please email us and we will try to organise a private guide for your group.

Is the tour wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Of course! We are delighted to share the city with our guests using wheelchairs or strollers.

Where does the tour end?
The tour finishes close to Dublin Castle, beside Temple Bar district.
10 minutes walk to Trinity College and, in the other direction, 10 minutes walk to the Guinness Storehouse.

How long is the tour?
The tour lasts for 2.5 hours, including a short coffee/bathroom break in the middle.

This booking fee guarantees your place on the tour.
